This area was realized in different periods, it shows a high urbanistic knowledge, exalted by the difficult orographical situation.
The first level is constituted by Via Ninfina; 25 meters up Via delle Colonne. Between these two, we find Piazza Del Pozzo Dorico. The polygonal terrace cultivation, which from Piazza del Pozzo supports the end of Via Colonna, is considered the oldest intervention. This area, from Via delle Colonne ending to Piazza Montagna, was dedicated to the Forum.
